Anne el Habre has been making art for nearly 40 years, on any blank, flat surface that happens to come within view. Doors, walls, desks, lockers, trash cans, napkins, as well as the usual artist’s variety of paper, canvas, and wood – no surface is safe. Since discovering ATCs (artists trading cards), she has found that it opens up a whole other realm of possibilities and has been experimenting with collage, powdered pigments, ink, and pushing the boundaries of her creativity. Anne owns and operates her own gallery in Savannah, Georgia with fellow IATC member, Judith Metzger, and is an avid gamer and pirate enthusiast.
