Default Stonebandit's Project & Sketchbook thread

I thought this might help keep track of what projects I'm working on. There also might be some posts of my sketchbook pages.

It would be great if someone can tell me how to make the bottom pictures smaller, I can't figure it out.

I told myself I was going to do something for a conbook this year. Last year it didn't look like they got that many submissions, but they don't use all the stuff they get either. (this years theme was movie monsters)

So I scribbled a few ideas down and forgot about it.

Then two weeks before submissions were due they put out a call for stuff, and I had to quick get something done. (changed the idea too)

Interesting to see your process, Stonebandit, and your final piece is really good.
My name is Lucy and I read art blogs.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if I should post the process or not. Maybe I will remember to in the future.
Here is a sketchbook page anyway.

A wip for a character ref for this years goals. It's the only solution I can think of for all the character inconsistencies.
Turns out my new sketchbook doesn't fit on my scanner

a sketchbook for characters to keep them consistent is brilliant! I added my Ennata and Theodus to a sketchbook and tried to add in on the colors and their codes so I would hopefully be able to recreate again...though really i never color the same way twice unless i do it like the next day etc I always forget!

Thanks, I didn't think about adding color codes. ( should probably add them) It's ok for the colors to be different, they could be varied depending on the setting and time in the art.
Some the best designs of characters are easy to identify with no color or just the silhouette. ( something I've been trying to work on )
