Possible inspiration, completely optional. Pick one from Column A, one from Column B. Go.

Example: If "moose" were listed in Column A, and "pink stiletto" were listed in Column B, you might draw this:

THIS IS SO TOTALLY OPTIONAL YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS BUT IT IS REALLY FUN.

    Column A

    Pikachu
    Napoleon
    Cheese
    Spock
    Raven
    Foxglove
    Cloud
    Gloves
    Blood donor
    One Punch Man
    Picasso-esque
    Serpentine
    Carbs
    Low-tech
    iPhone

    Column B
    Steampunk
    Robot
    Princess
    Goddess
    Secret
    Faerie
    Neck
    Poodle skirt
    Fox
    Con artist
    Goose
    Cravat
    Vodka
    Lebowski
    Girl scout

So excited!! Art-a-thons make me much braver than I usually am to approach new trades. Gonna make a few in advance just to make sure I don't run out of goodies!

I am traveling that weekend, but I might have a little extra time to work on at least a few pieces ahead of time

Love art-a-thons! I don't think I'll be able to do much on the first two days, I'm working until 8PM and then I'm on call. But I'll definitely join the party on Saturday and Sunday!

I'm so glad for all who can join us!

Personally, I would love to have a stack ready when this starts, but I am also looking forward to wearing the same clothes for two days in a row and doing nothing but arting and movie watching and maybe a teensy bit of cooking, but only if I feel like it.

    Bring on the a-thon!

So funny Ann! I do the same thing when I want to be on a roll. Wear the same clothes, and binge watch movies.

I like to watch movies when I paint too! Mostly oldies that I have seen a hundred times.

I think binge watching must be part of art making, lol. Though I can only watch stuff that doesn't take a lot of effort because I'm barely paying attention. I just like the noise and the movement.

I do the exact same thing. It's nice to have familiar flicks to keep you company while you art.

I love my Netflix and Hulu! I was just telling my husband earlier that I'm not even interested in DVDs anymore. Between the encoding, the regions, the copyright red tape, I can't play them on my computer and I don't feel like sitting on the couch to watch things when I can be at my computer working while watching. I couldn't stomach most of the gorey stuff of Walking Dead, so that was a great one to have in the background while I was arting lol. The story was great but I never would have made it through the pilot without being able to multitask something else. I'm thinking of starting up Smallville from the beginning on Hulu while I paint and draw. I've seen the first 5 seasons, but if I start season 6 now, its been so many years I might not remember all the details they're dealing with.

I would so want to watch if I let any shows play in the background unless it's a movie that I've seen a million times. But maybe I can give it a try. I get home late Friday night from my trip so don't know how much I'll get made during the thon

I have an absolute stack of cards drawn & inked with no real purpose in mind, so I'm hoping I can get some quality color time in for this athon. Maybe I'll even dig out a season of something I haven't watched to death yet to play while I work.
