Gifts are kept small and limited to 2 for quick turnaround and
so it won't get in the way of your Secret Santa art making.

MAILING DATE
For everyone - Mail by October 5, 2012
"Mail by" means that the package
must be in the mail
on or before that date -
with a TRACKING NUMBER.

Important - You may be shipping internationally. Please do not sign up if you cannot afford shipping costs. I will do my best to match packages in the same country to reduce costs but this will not always be possible.

WHO can play?

• There is a minimum iTrader rating requirement of +25 to join this swap. iTraders from AFA count here.
• You must be an active trader within the past 3 months (prior to Aug 31) on either iATCs or AFA. If you're just coming back to trading after some time away, please contact an admin. We want everyone to play if possible.
• If you have negative iTraders and want to play, please contact an admin. Participation will be decided on a case by case basis.
• If this is your first time playing, you are limited to 1 package

HOW does it work?

• This is a Halloween themed gift exchange
  
• Post your questionnaire (see post below) to the thread and say how many packages you want to send. If you want to use the themes listed in your profile, Copy/Paste that information To Your Questionnaire, so people do not have to hunt for your information!
  
• You will send your info (address) to ME, Skyjules. I will match you up with your fellow gift giver(s) after the sign-up deadline: Once assigned, you look at their wishlist, and decide what to create for your gift recipient. You will receive from a different person, it's all secret, its small, doable and going to be fun!
  
• If you choose to send more than one package, you will receive different gift recipients, not the same person for all packages. And you will likely receive gifts from different people, not necessarily the same ones you are sending to.
  
• Keep your gift recipient(s) secret until your gift arrives to them; don't let them know you are creating for them!
  
• After names are assigned, you CAN NOT withdraw. Your gift recipient is counting on you to follow through.
  
• Delivery confirmation or tracking number required (you MUST send it to me to track the package) for all packages. Proof of shipment (scanned postal receipt) for international packages is acceptable if tracking is too expensive. Please PM it to me to prove you sent.

VERY IMPORTANT - we want everyone to receive their gifts in October before Halloween. For this reason, it is vital that you send before October 5, 2012.

WHAT do we send?

• This swap is OPEN to all types of art and crafts! Pottery, Sewing, Knitting, Jewelry, if you can make it well, you can send it. This is a juried site, so gifts much be your best work! See below for more details!
  
• We are only sending small gifts. The size is a bit different than the Secret Santa, don't get them confused.

2. Your favorite color? Color combinations? Burnt orange to all shades of orange-I love Orange!/black/cream-parchment - Autumn colors too---red, golds,rust! (also love purple)

Pen and ink drawings/Pages for my book of Shadows,Altered Art Dolls, Paper-dolls- Themes I love are Owls,pumpkins,moons,cats,potions, mysterious,DOD-detailed sugar skulls. I do love the Headless Horseman on his horse with blazing JOL.

4. What do you NOT want to receive? Gore-zombies,vampires,pink things,nothing stuffed.

5. Do you have any art journals, altered Tip-in or chunky books you would like pages for? Describe them (size, media, theme) Grimoire pages-tip-ins for my book of shadows---would love some beautifully illustrated spell and potion pages.
size: 6.75"x5" (landscape) so finished size would be 7" wide x 5" tall.

Well, since this is a halloween themed swap, Halloween! Yay!

Anything I can hang!
Nothing really scary or gory please.

I love hand art, and I also like Gothic arches - I collect 5x7 Gothic arches.

I like folk art style, and like combined themes, like trick or treaters outside a haunted house, or goth witches, or pumpkin people. Feel free to play to your strengths and interests - I find that produces the best quality artwork. I also love really detailed day of the dead Calavera and its bright colors! One of my fav paintings is here.

No.

I am allergic to scents.

My favorite color is green. My favorite color combinations are usually brights (magenta, turquoise, yellow, grass green, more turquoise) but in a Halloween swap I'm also very down with the classic black, orange, yellow and purple combo.

I'm pretty open to anything.
I'd love atcs, wall art, art dolls, etc. Something I can display.

4. What do you NOT want to receive?
I don't wear jewelry or use journals often, but if making those are your thing then go for it! I'm not one to stop an artist from doing her thing!

No, but if you want to make something that would fit in a journal or chunky I'm sure I could put it in a frame and stick it on my wall.

6. Any allergies your partner should know about?
Cigarette smoke...but I doubt it would be a problem receiving something from a smoker.

7. What crafts or art projects can you do for your partner?
I do mixed media, so I can do the atcs or larger layouts that we frequently swap on IATCs, but I'm also rocking the crafts. I like making art dolls, jewelry, altered objects, painting garments, carving stamps, etc. I really quite enjoy the carving stamps and I haven’t made an art doll in a while, so I’d love to make some of those for someone if they’d like them.

8. What kind of Candy do you like? What kind of candy do you NOT like?
I like most candy, but I'm on a diet, so please don't tempt me. If you send it, I will eat it.

9. Anything else we should know:
I'm off caffeine right now. So although I really like coffee and tea, there’s no need to send me any.

Also, if you’d prefer to send me art to something purchased that’d be peachy keen. I buy myself more supplies than I need, so if rather than sending ephemera/candies/treats you’d like to make me a few inchies or an atc it would be wonderful with me (as I can’t buy your art at Michaels.)
