I have been (since I finally got the kids to sleep at 9:30) practicing drawing faces and watching youtube videos instructing me how to do so... having never had any formal training in drawing faces or figure drawing, I am learning that I have a LOT to learn! I was hoping to have made some cards that at least were not terrible... not yet! I shall keep trying... I really want to do the o-face swap!

Skyelance, I am kind of tired, and I read the start of your post as "I have been . . . practicing drawing fences." Which really confused me when you also said you'd had no training in figure drawing. LOL.

Here is my first card, sneaking in at 11:55 so I can still call it Friday night! He's got the "moves like Jagger," but she's got the "brows like Kahlo."

VP, I love that plugging thing you're doing! It is so cool that you are taking it to the streets! Also love the faces.

I hope to produce something and get in on the trading later this morning.

I am so slow, lol. I have 4 cards on the go but I keep getting distracted. I will be MIA this afternoon since it's my daughter's birthday party but will be back after dinner. I'm going to try to finish and post these cards first though!

Good morning! I am feeling better today, thankfully, but have a crazy eyeball-scrunching headache that I'm attributing to lack of caffeine yesterday. Fingers crossed that this caffeine-filled migraine medicine will make a dent in it - figures I'm sick the first time that the manflesh is gone for an -athon!

Itti, is the middle one still available? I'm just getting here and about to post a set of bottle caps and a blind contour. I have two more sets of bottle caps started, and three other blind contours to color - wahoo! Off to scan and photograph..I waved at muppet and Joeslines yesterday twice passing through their area on the way to the Wallenda crossing in Niagra Falls, NY - I think I was right across the falls from grrrdjules, too!

Yes! I hope you join! While formal training helps, it's certainly far from necessary - if you're feeling it, it'll be there. I, for one, can't wait to see what you come up with!
