    Lightbulb My next swaps: Ideas

Okay. I would like to post a couple of new swaps. Here are my ideas.

Please post and let me know what you are most interested in. I will probably host at least two (maybe ALL, bwahahahaha) over the summer, and post the due date for the end of August/beginning of Sept. So LOTS of time to work on them over the busy summer months.

    - Personifications of the Elements. Water/Fire/Earth/Air
This one will be about giving these elemental forces human aspects. This will be a 4:4 swap.

    - Pulp Science Fiction.
Inspired by the pulp fiction novels that started it all and the amazing covers that drew us to them. Like the work of Frank R. Paul. A 3:3 swap.

    - Art Deco/Art Nouveau
Cards dedicated to this amazing time in the decorative arts, from the organic forms of Art Nouveau to the graphics and stucture of its sister Art Deco. A 2:2 swap, or 4:4 if enough people join.

    -Birds/Bugs/Blooms
This will be a 3:3 swap which will require the participants to make one card of each. A card with a bird, and card with a bug, and a card with a bloom(flower). Whatever kind you want. Everyone will get one of each for their returns.

Oh my! They all sound good. I will do my best to join at least one of them (making the cards in advance... ahem *cough*.... since my track record was a bit spotty this winter). I especially love the idea of Art Nouveau.

Cool ideas. I'm into bird/bug/bloom and the elements.

What catpratt said- birds, bugs, blooms, and elements. I love Nouveau but it's a pretty broad subject and I'm kind of burnt out on my constant Nouveau-ish style. (even though I'd most likely end up doing Nouveau-style bugs and blooms, but who knows!)

The Elements sounds very intriguing. But like aforementioned admins (Ahemmm), I'd have to do mine first before committing too).

    Okay! Thanks for responding everyone.

I think I am going to go ahead and post both the Elements Swap, and the Bird/Bug/Bloom Swap. I think they will be fun and I hope everyone makes cards for them!

Daedrya, I hope you join in too. Its so easy to participate in the swaps and there will be lots of time to make cards for them.
