How great to see so much interest and honesty on this subject!
My art sits si I lose interest and yeah...my ego takes a beating over it too.
Artists are such a fragile group of people in many ways~sigh
But...maybe we can overcome our egos and fears by continuing to talk about it.
And by making lots of art to trade!
I finally got some art done....a good handful of cards to post.
I just added a couple for now, dinner is waiting to be finished up.

This is interesting! We all have our insecurities, don't we? I've been wanting to do some ATCs just for the heck of it but life keeps me busy just trying to "survive." I see awesome cards all the time in the gallery but I don't want to promise a return and have it hanging over me, on top of other obligations. Everyone here is talented.

I love repeat trades and collecting cards of all themes, mediums. Just the act of creating is rewarding let alone the wonderful bonus of sharing and receiving art!!

I don't have anything available, but I want to do this sometime soon. I love moon keeper, EQ. Hopefully she'll still be there when I have something, too!(unless YOU're sick of MY art)

I think we are all made from the same cloth, LOL. I have about 7 cards available but theyre nearly all of my little bear character. Which Im wondering if theyre too 'cutsie'.Coz they have stuck around.
Im nearly finished a swap that Ive got due and another card for a trade, then I think Ill try and get some more 'just coz' cards done.
Purple, your bears are lovely...my guess is that you might be correct, on the lack of appeal for "cutesy" here. I see a lean toward fantasy, nudes, mythical, etc. I'm not into some of those kinds of themes but I always appreciate a card well executed. I find myself doing cutesy sometimes. There are folks who eat that stuff up at AFA!! Maybe not so much here. Don't be offended at all! You create wonderful art!!

I would love to trade more! I really love trading what I have available for something else available. The only drawback I have...is that when my depression worse I am unable to create and so...go for long periods without making anything. The whole...having to create a specific to order card is extremely hard for me with this condition. Thank you for this thread
