I totally lost my confidence when my available cards just sat there. So much so that I removed everything and started again. Strange thing is that members here trade cards with me on AFA.
I wanted to join the secret santa again but no-one was asking for my sort of art.

My available cards would always sit too HAHA. I still have the Moon keeper that hasn't been traded...Some cards we like ourselves just don't appeal to others and there's not much we can do about it.
I would love to do more one on one and just make what I like. But lately, I haven't had any time to make extra ATCs. But I do have some drawn out for previous swaps I wasn't able to finish so I will try to work on them this week and have something in the available gallery. I'll post here when I do.

Hopefully there are some you all may like.
I use to have cards in my available art but no one approached me for trades and if I approached someone for a trade from their available art they would ask me to make something that they wanted rather than pick one of the cards I had available.
I was just wondering if you ask for a 1:1 trade from someone's available art do they pick from your available art or can they ask for something made special? or can it be a bit of both.
All in all I found the experience to be a bit deflating that my availabe art remained available for as long as I left it there!!! It certainly made me lose confidence in my art, so I mainly stick to swaps now.
I don't need lots of you to tell me how lovely my art is, I think the comments (or lack of) in the gallery give me a good indication of what people think of where my art is at. I am not feeling sorry for myself just letting you know my experiences of trying to do some 1:1 trading.
I am trying to improve my art and exposure here by sticking to the swaps and particpating regularly.
awww....don't be sad! I love your artwork. I have had so many cards sit forever too. I'm glad with this thread to find out that many people have the same problem with no one asking for a trade so they think it's because of their art. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I know for me I just make what I like & hopefully there are others out there that like it too. Anyway...I'm enjoying myself & my quirky zombie cards. I hope people will start sending me PM's for trades. I love to trade

I think cards sit sometimes because people are afraid to ask to trade.

I love this idea. I have really loved seeing all the art people are creating for trade.
I will be creating more cards for my Available gallery too. I have a day off tomorrow, which will be put to good use!

I get worried about asking for repeat trades! A part of me thinks well, they already own some of my art so maybe they wouldn't want to trade again. Oh we artist with out fragile egos!

As far as trading over and over I love it when I get several pieces of art from someone, then it is a collection. Love that!
