    Instructions:
    1. Sign up for as no more than 2 groups unless you pm me privately for permission as I would prefer folks do a fabulous job on the groups they are involved in.
1.a. Eraser Queen suggested using movies you can get screen captures of, and gave some sites you can find screen captures at in this thread This is a suggestion not manditory.
    2. Once you sign up you can’t withdraw, as some artists start their cards immediately.
    3. Each of the group members then have several months to track down, watch all the movies (or at least glance through them) and design a card directly from each of them. Make a card for each of the members of your group in their chosen movie; you then receive cards of your chosen movie in return.
    4. Make sure that your user name, who you made the card for and the group number are on the back of each card. Please remember to sign your card!
    5. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope for your returns if you are in the US. International members, I will cover the postage but please include a self addressed label for your returns. I will supply the envelopes.
    6. My mailing address is:
    Abi Paytoe Gbayee
    742 Cimarron Dr.
    Cheyenne, WY 82009
    7. Please plan on mailing your cards out a week before the due date if you are US and a couple of weeks early for international. I'd like to get them back to you before I leave for Spring Break.

As this is a swap where you make cards for each person, please ensure you DO NOT over-commit yourself. You must be willing to work on all the other themes in your group!

And lastly, PLEASE be sure to submit your very best work! Be creative and make cards you can be proud of!

Abi, I'll join group 1 because I really like the imagery in "300." In fact, I pulled some screen shots from it to use as reference sources for some of the characters in my cards for "The Endless" swap. I looked at a site that has screen caps and I decided to choose "Titanic" for mine, only because there is a wide variety of cool imagery in the movie. Screen shots may be found here. Anything that appeals to you is fine with me. You can do the people, the ship, the ocean, things in the wreckage, action shots, whatever you find interesting. Just have fun with it!

I'd love to join Group 1 with the movie, "Beowulf & Grendel" starring Gerald Butler (not that hoakie movie they did with Jolie in it). There are many beautiful scene's in this movie - and Gerald Butler is sooooo hot! Not to mention I love the dire starkness of how they handled this movie.

I would like to be in the "Whatever" group and my movie of choice is Bladerunner.

Please, no movies by David Lynch - though I will slog through Dune if I must.

Oh, the group three will be such a great group to illustrate! : D The Coens, Daniel Day-Lewis, guns and scifi stuff.. My brain will pop out.

(And I finally met someone who actually knows about my all-time favourite film, haha. I first saw Miller's Crossing eight or seven years ago and it's still in my top five.)

Fargo (which oddly I didn't like at first) clued me into Miller's Crossing which I saw recently, and it's one of my top favorite movies =) I already have a cool idea for it....

You're welcome Anne! HAHA I figured you'd like it

Miller's Crossing has some stunning visuals, superlative performances and, of course, John Turturro - whom I adore as an actor.

Ok, I was moving yesterday. An all day event in which I had disconnected my computer and don't have service at the new place yet, so I apologize in my tardiness getting everything updated. I am so excited!

Okay, I would like to be bold, sign up for the last spot in group 3 and choose "Last of the Mohicans" for my film. There are lots of incredible visuals in the movie and even some more opportunities for those who need it to sooth their Daniel Day Lewis obsession.

Sorry, I just cannot resist. There are so many cool movies in group 3!
