| Title |
Lenny & Rex, 70's MOOs |
| Description |
Part II of Why the Long Face Moo Group. Copic and Prismacolor and various ink on inexpertly cut 1" x 2.75" watercolor paper (Lenny) and bristol board (Rex).
From the initial photo shoot for the short-lived 70's cop show, Lenny & Rex: Dogs on the Street. Lenny played the slightly bumbling "good dog", and Rex played the tough guy (think Russell Crowe's Bud from LA Confidential). After their show was cancelled, Rex quickly dropped off the radar, while Lenny founded the Groovy Dawg Hair Creme empire. After several years of living the high life, Lenny disappeared under suspicious circumstances at the age of 26. Several of his many bitches were suspected but none were ever charged. |
