We bought our first home last month and I am working on getting it ready for tenants... SAY WHAT!?!?! Yeah, so, we are living for free in my mom's house while she and her husband are in Mexico for another year for his work. SO, we figured we'd rent our home out before moving in so that we can have another year to save up money for our emptied savings account and for putting down on the house to try to pay it off a little more quickly than TWENTY FIVE YEARS, haha...

Anyway, so sad, because I am have been aaaching for my own home for so long and I finally have it but now I don't really have it... sick! Maybe we just like torturing ourselves? HAH!!!

LONG STORY SHORT... I have awesome plans for the decor of my home and I can't wait to get going on it!!! I've been collecting stuff for my kids' rooms in the theme of their rooms... and I have been looking up plans for building furniture and whatnot because our new home is a humble one.. very small.. and Im thinking custom or customized furniture would help organize and keep rooms roomy... and my husband is a carpenter, heh.


carpenter + artist + building furniture = AWESOME

...At least in my mind.

I found this post on Apartment Therapy (best blog ever) of THE best nursery EVER... so FUNKY... love love love... and it is inspiring me to go CRAZY with murals when I end up painting my son's outerspace-themed bedroom. YEAH!!!!
