Fantasy Swap! DUE Sept 30, 2007

Goblins and orcs, castles and dragons, swords and battles, magic and elves--this swap is for all things fantasy-related! Anything that is fantasy is permitted in this swap--from fantastical realms, to fantastical people and creatures. Think of battling wizards, ancient tomes, strange and mystical creatures, warm cozy hobbit holes, or tall cold castles! Open your mind and allow the magic to flow through your brush and your pen. No bulky cards or heavy embellishments please--as this site is for illustrated ATCs, this shouldn't be a problem!

Swap details:
Amount of cards: 4 for 4
Cards due in my hands: September 30 (please postmark by Sept 20 for non U.S. and Sept 25 for US participants to ensure they make the deadline). I send my swaps out promptly after they are due.
Shipping: US participants should send a SASE. I expect most of our cards to be flat, so 41 cents should do it. International participants, please send an address label and I will cover your return postage. I will provide an envelope that will keep return cards flat and return costs down.
Additional info: Please include your user name, swap name, and real name on the cards. Also, please send the cards in protective sleeves so that they survive their travels safely. Goodies and extra ATCs are always appriciated, but never required or expected :). When you are ready to send, please PM me for my address. I will leave feedback for all participants before I mail returns.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm starting my qualifying exams for my ph.d. program on Tuesday of this week. I won't be on much at all this upcoming week, and will be on limited amounts of time next week as I finish my weeklong portion. I'll update my swap when I return -- feel free to sign up in the meantime though :). If you need my address to send cards, I think most of the members here already have it, haha.

Finally finished my fourth and final card tonight. Whew! I experimented wildly, using different techniques and mediums for each card. If I may say so myself, this is maybe the best work of my entire life. I'm really proud of these.

They'll go in the mail Tuesday, I guess... next time the mail person comes round after the weekend and holiday.

Huh - I made a post the other night, apologizing for the fact that 2 of my cards will be uncolored since I decided to scrap the 2 I was going to send since they sucked and didn't get the time to apply color. I wonder where it went :eek:

Anyone who gets the uncolored ones, I will be more than happy to add color. Send them to me and I will color and send them back as well as reimburse you for postage.

I sent my cards express - so they should be arriving on time.

At this point, I'm still waiting on Livia's and Princessgene's cards. Livia's were mailed out over a week and a half ago, so we are starting to worry. I would like to wait to swap these for our last two sets unless anyone else has objections. The deadline is on Sunday.
