ALL: Bird/Bug/Bloom Swap, Due Sept 3rd

Do you like Birds? Bugs? Flowers? Well this is the swap for you! I want you to create one card of each, and you will get one of each in return. One card will have a flower, one card will have a bug, and one will have a bird. Any kind you want.

Nature lovers this swap is for you. :treehugger:

Format: Original ATC's
Number of Cards: 3:3

Due Date: Sept 3rd, 2012

Mail By Date: August 27th, 2012.
Cards MUST be in the mail by this date, at the latest.

Mediums: According to your membership.

Instructions:
Please send in your BEST work! Dont rush, do your very best. Seriously.

1. Please make sure your cards are on theme, and mailed on time.

2. Please PM me for my address if you are sending your cards early.
Otherwise I will send out a general PM to all the participants, about 3 weeks prior to the due date.

3. -I will supply the Envelopes.
- Include a large address label in your package (the sticker kind).

4. I will need help with postage!
- CANADIAN players, send postage stamp(s) and an address LABEL.

- US players, enclose a well concealed $1 bill, (or 2 Canadian stamps if you have them) and an address LABEL.

- International players, enclose an address LABEL. I will cover postage.
If you happen to have some Canadian stamps, or US dollar bills, then I would be very grateful if you sent a couple along.

5. Please send your cards early! I live in Canada so plan for it to take two weeks to get to me.

My Dark Eyed Junco just lost 3-4 comments in the Card Gallery.. :(
I edited all three files to add "Stipple Paper" to the description, and for some weird reason, more than half the comments dropped right off!

The reason I picked the subjects I did: the junco is in my yard all the time, in fact, they raised several clutches in my bushes :); the bug was pretty, found while researching Asian lilies; and the four o'clock was a common flower for me, growing up. I used to make fairies out of them! If you don't know how to do this, just ask ;)

Hooray! I'm glad they made it safely and it time :) I can't wait to see my returns in September - the cards for this swap have been beautiful! Meran killed me with that red beetle. I have those little suckers attempting to eat all of my Asiatic lilies before they have a chance to bloom for the third year in a row...buggers.

Wow, Mlydon! I had no idea someone here actually had them snacking around their yard :) So, I did good then in depiction? (I was working off some reference photos...)
I almost did a Japanese Beetle. I remember them eating my mom's roses from the inside. Hated those things but they were beautiful!

I miss Four O'Clocks (my choice of flower).

Thanks, Meran! And yes, I've had those beetles for about four years now. I have to treat my lilies with Neem once a week until they bloom, or those little buggers will eat them entirely. There's no getting rid of them, apparently. Supposedly, they eat Bittersweet as well, which is a major invasive around here, but I haven't seen them on that, yet..
