No withdrawl dates - however if you are in a group of only 3 your need to stay in if there are more than 3 I don't have a problem just let me know.

You know they say “the devil finds work for idle HANDS” so I guess we need to take matters in our own HANDS and work HAND in HAND to not allow this opportunity to raise our HANDS above our heads and tell the world we are not afraid to proclaim: “YES, I AM A HANDS FREAK AND I’M NOT ASHAMED!!” pass us by.
Come one, Come all - join us, help spread your HANDS across the world. Send a HAND where no other HAND has gone. There are those that think we can’t find our ass with both HANDS however I know we can do that with one HAND tied behind our backs……. So before we have blood on our HANDS and this all gets out of HAND, let’s get this party going….HANDS DOWN!!

RULES: Here’s what you do.
Pick a group, any group, all groups. We are adults here and I believe you can HANDle yourself and not let your lust for HANDS get out of control.
If you want to trade for one in one group make one, if you want to trade for two in one group make two (no more than two per group) When you sign up just say what group and how many.

Look at each group CAREFULLY because each one has its own set of rules.
SIZE MATTERS: The hands shouldn’t be more that 8 inches tall and no wider than 8 inches (that allows for the open fingers). No hands smaller than 6 inches tall.
POSTAGE:
Internationals do not let postage keep you from playing. People have been so generous in my last two swaps I have ample funds to cover postage if you don’t have it. Of course great if you do.
Canadian players the same goes for you. If you have postage or cash great if not I will take care of it.
US – the same postage it takes to get to me plus either two extra stamps or 50 cents. Because your returns may be bigger or heavier than the ones you sent.
IMPORTANT – IMPORTANT:Please – Please put your user name and first name on the FRONT AND BACK of your envelopes. This saves so much time when swapping out.
Please – Please put your user name on the back of all art work. Your real name would be nice but optional.
ENVELOPES/MAILERS:Our largest hand could be 8 X 8 so all mailers should be at east that to accommodate all size returns. I try to use the same mailer you send to me unless it is so well tapped it is destroyed getting it open. I’m thinking one of the larger manila envelopes with a piece of cardboard for support would work. They can be folded down to whatever size we need.
Include a large return label.

If you want to lay a HAND on the hostess, she will love it, but not necessary…you know the drill.

Here the twist…….there is going to be a prize for the hand most liked. We will do a poll before I swap them out and the winner will receive a prize. (The winner being the one that created the lucky HAND.) I haven’t decided what yet but it will be something nice.

So stop wringing your HANDS and sign up! There has to be at least 3 people in a group to make a group. If I forgot anything let me know. Now go, sign up.

I have a bad habit of buying books sticking them on a shelf and forgetting what I buy, so I end up having two of many books.....this is one. $24.99 but free to the winner if he/she so chooses it. #2 Illustrated Discovery Journal - it is a book that helps your create a journal. It's about self discovery and helps you create a Visual autobiography of your authentic self....... #3 This is a put together DOTD theater. it has 3 scenes, A Salon, a kitchen and a cemetery......I have one too but haven't put it together yet. I got these super cheap at a great discount book store, new $24.95, never opened....#4 Two Nick Bantock books, I found these at a flea market or somewhere, One has no cover, the other one has a cover but a small tear at the binding. But the books are intact and complete. I love these books I have several. Buy them when I see them. Love all the letters and stuff tucked inside.

EQ - no problem the Hands will be swapped out within each group. And yes the only difference is nature group is only the one specific hand, the sign group is more or less around signing and text.....this was a suggestion so I went with it. Group 3 is just a no holes bared group with individual themes. All groups can have any shape hand they choose. I made groups because I know there are people that like specific themess and this way it assures them they will get a theme of their choice. And because your beautiful hand doesn't have a specific theme I am going to add a group for
"artist choice" that group can have any shape hand and any theme they want and the players will get random theme hands in return. Does that make sense?

Two layers of cardboard fused together with a layer of craft paper on top; edged with sharpies and dye ink. Embellished with real pressed flowers, real postage stamps, images, leaf skeletons, torn book pages, cutout images, clear crackle paint, rubber stamping, buttons and embroidery floss.

Mine went out too, but what a nut I am. In rush mode to make it to the PO before closing, I failed to send money, OR scan them!! I can hardly believe I did that! The hands are similar, but the Halloween one has pumpkins, spiderwebs, bones, skulls, and other Halloweeny images.
The Day of the Dead one does not have Halloween symbols on it like pumpkins or spiders....just flowers, bones and La Calavera Catrina skull, etc. etc.

another issue. For swap purposes. I only have one hand in the Adult group, I can move her to Steampunk and think she will fit, unless anyone objects to that.

there are only 2 in the favorite artist group and I can move them to Nature, unless anyone objects to having one hand different that all the rest. Group one can let me know in a PM. I need to know as soon a possible so I can start trading as soon as Muppet and grrrdjules hands get here. Happy voting. Remember you are voting on your favorite has nothing to do with the "best" by judging standards only your heart.

If you can't see the pages close enough you can always look at the hand in the thread, just make sure you attache the correct number to it when voting.


I will tally the numbers and post the numbers by Friday with the "favorites" names. The Number 1 favorite will choose the prize they want, second, etc. If one person happens to be favorite twice, do you want me to move the the next closest number so someone else can win something or do you want to remain if a person wins twice, they get to pick twice....let me know on that too.... An artist from AFA strung her's on some beautiful silk cord and hung it from the top of the ceiling along side the entrance hall. I also saw an art teacher who had her pupils hands made into one big heart. It would be interesting to see photos of other hand displays.

okay I got the card sorted (had to resort as I found to piles that had the artist with one of their own hands as a return...ggrrrrr but I finally got them sorted and in the envies tonight I will tape them up and get ready to mail Friday or Sat. I will try to get to the post office Friday...Will let you know when they are postal....also one final thing....a few of you did not vote and that is fine, I will wait until tonight to announce the winners. I will contact the winners so they can let me know what they want and if I hear back I will send with returns if not I will send seperate.

I must apologize to all I haven't made it to the post office yet. my daughter has had several job interviews and I have to be home with the twins and can't get to the post office before it closes. I hope in the next couple of days I can make it in time. Everything is in my car ready to mail.

And last but surely not least thanks to Janni, our August bride, for the fantastic Nature hand. I had to rip it out of our granddaughter's hand because she wanted it. Normally, the sun shines on her. At that moment, she had a grandma with fire in her eyes. Truly cool, creative, wonderful, brilliant hand, Janni. YOU ALL made my heart beat fast and my whole body smile... yes, it did!!!!
