4" x 6" Trades for a mini art book!

Okay, so my 9 month old baby Amelia loves loves LOVES looking through my art card binder. She cannot turn the pages be herself though because the sleeves make the pages fold in weird places. Sometimes I put cards in heavy duty plastic sleeves and let her inspect and throw them around a while before going back in the binder. (Don't worry, I am careful with them and I don't let her wreck art lovingly made for me!)

But I was thinking - maybe people would be willing to trade me 4"x6" pieces (isn't that postcard size?) made for her that I could slide into a mini photo album so that she can look and re-look and re-look (as babies do) at her own book. In return, I would make you cards based on whatever theme you'd like, or as per your profile or whatever. I would make you a 4"x6" or three ATCs! It will take me about two weeks to get things done, based on my current rate-of-painting+free time.

P&P or Mixed Media are welcome! I really don't care about the themes of cards made for her as she seems to get excited about any and all of my ATCs, but I'd want any cards to be horizontal to fit into a photobook. I'll make a short list of things that she likes to get people started but really, as long as it's made with love it will go in the book! (and I can detect not-love, people, I can. :radar: lol)

A list of Amelia's favourite things, supposed by her mom, who has to guess based on what she plays with because her vocabulary is so limited:

cats (her first word was "cat" just a few days ago, we have a large orange tabby with white accents and a super small brown/ black tabby)
lions
the colour yellow, with orange or red accents (like ducks, or lions)
eyeglasses
fruit
trees with lots of green leaves
music/ musical instruments
portraits, especially ones with limited colour palates

And if you are all, "that's great, but I don't even know your stinking baby, so get lost" here are some super adorable photos to break your resolve into, "Oh MAN would I ever love to get on board with this project!

I'll make one Sabrina, as Sarah and Ann can tell you I love babies and she is a cutie. I'd love to make one for her as a present from me to her so no need to "pay me back".

Cindy, that is really generous! But seriously, I would make you stuff in return. I was thinking that if people don't collect 4"x6" that I could make three art cards for them instead.
Also, I was looking through the binder with her today, and one of the cards that she picked out was one from you! It was a purple card with a clown and dog on it. :)

As long as there is no timeline, I am totally in. I think its a great way to keep that baby brain engaged. Im sure she is making all kinds of brain cells by looking at art.

Thanks to those of you who have traded with me already, I'm going to take a trading hiatus while I catch up here on the site and catch up in life. I do want to finish off Amelia's book one day, she really loves looking at the art in it already! She carries it around with her in the house and chooses a spot to sit and read it, reads it, picks it up and does it all over again. You can only imagine the cuteness!
It turns out that I'm pregnant again (!) this one was a huge surprise! The pregnant brain is really killing me right now and I'm finding it hard to keep everything straightened out, so if I still owe you cards and haven't written you today then please let me know! And if I owe you itrader please let me know! If you post here or a PM I'll get it.

I would LOVE to make your daughter a 4x6" card for your album. :) I will PM you when I'm ready to send it to you!

I bought a 4x6" little photo album myself and would love to fill it up with "Original Dragon" art, meaning art featuring a dragon completely made up by the artist. Not the traditional scaly beast, but a flower dragon, a pants dragon, a cloud dragon, a boat dragon, any theme-dragon you can imagine. :D A pile of clothes in the shape of a dragon is perfect, for instance.

Otherwise, anything from my profile would be great. :)

I'll be getting to work on her card after the New Year.

By the way, SHE IS SO ADORABLE.
