As a few of you know, I am the webmaster of the Purdue OWL (online writing lab), a large writing-related website with tons of resources about writing and anything related to it. We are currently in the process of sprucing up the office where we do our work, and so I'd like to get some ATC art to display that features owls. These can be any kind of owl, realistic or more illustrative. They can be hand drawn/painted or mixed media/collage. Owls can be any type - barn owls, snowy owls, horned owls, etc. Lots of people who come in and out of the office will see the work, so its a great way to know your art will be seen :).

I will create cards for you in return based on anything that you like that I've done in the past or on themes that you specify. I'm up for doing work in any media, although I think my best is my layering work and my watercolor work.

I hope at least a few of you are interested! Please post here if so :) Thanks!

These are for me, and my fellow OWL workers who are in the office. Mostly its myself and my colleague Allen who works on the content side of the OWL. We also have two undergradautes who do various things for us. But people are in and out of the office all day, so many others will also see your work!

What's the time frame on this Dana?
Do you have a finite total number of pieces in mind?
Any kind, any syle, any technique. ATC's only?

I was hoping to get 6-8 pieces. Then I can frame them and display them around the office. Any time frame works, I am in no hurry :).

Coyote, I'd be happy to work out a larger size art trade if you are interested!

I am interested, but so burdened (whine). It is really the time frame that is the issue. I am going to keep an eye on this and see what happens.

Holey Moley....I found some images and a collage composition worked out so I finished one card and it is ready to mail out to you. I hope it works out for your purposes. Let me know later if you think you might be looking for more.

You don't want a bunch of old owl calendars do you? I've been going through my drawers and found some of these with nice photographs. Thought you might like to paper the walls in them. Let me know and I'll post them to you if you wish.

I also wanted to let everyone know that I took our first set of owl cards into the office today. I had a meeting and we all passed them around...there was even talk about making an "OWL" art section on the site, hehe. I'll let you know if that develops.

Annie, Allen just went nuts when he saw how you put our names on the picture! So great :).
