Did I mention I love self portraits? Well this one is inspired by an art history project. Do a self portrait in the style of your favorite artist.

I love this idea but like Cat I feel overwhelmed right now, especially by two huge chunky book projects I'm involved with which require lots of pages each. I could do this with a late November or early December deadline and would love to cause I love the theme -- ME! :) <grins> I'll keep stalking this thread as I work through my commitments to see if I can fit it in, and if you do extend the deadline, sign me up please.

Okay, I have extended the deadline to December 1.
I didn't think about the fact that almost all the swaps are due at the same time because the site is new.
So this will give folks a chance to procrastinate, including me :)

I have always struggled with the self-portrait thing, but I love the idea of filtering me through another artist's eyes/brush. I would love to participate because it's a great theme and it should be a fun challenge. So, enough babble :wub:, sign me up!

Hi J -I am having a serious block on the self-portrait thing. Right now, it's making me seriously crazy and blocking the flow of my other art. So, I need to bow out of your fabulous swap :(.

I know that they due date is a ways a way. So, I'll keep this in the back of my mind and if I am insipired - I'll rejoin (only if I have the cards complete)

I know it is a strange theme, but I think it could work out really cool - and remember they don't have to be "perfect" (who will really know if it doesn't look just like you) :)

Nope I am still here and my cards were finished last night. Going to post them today or tomorrow. It was a tricky but exciting theme and once I got into it had great fun.

I loved this swap by the way! I had a lot of fun making my cards and would love to do another one just like it if you feel like hosting again in the new year or something. Cool theme :)

I received Amerasu's cards yesterday, but I didn't notice them on the table until I left this morning (silly husband). So I didn't get a chance to look at them :( I will be making the swap in the next few days.

BTW I decided I didn't like my first cards, so you all get new ones which I will upload soon.
