View Full Version : Can squeeze in one more personalised trade...

... Before I leave the country on the 29th August.

Today I realised with a start that aside from my Reading group cards (and I've gotta do some reading first!) that I had pretty much completed my ATC commitment list. Aside from 3 circle journals to work on - only one of which needs to be done before I leave for Madagascar (and it's all sketched out), I'm as free as a bird.

So, I'm going to attempt to squeeze in one last personalised 3-for-3 trade.

Criteria:
1/. You must want art from me (duh)
2/. You must be willing to do art FOR me based on my interests list (see below)
3/. I must not have traded with you already.
4/. You must post here with a list of what you're collecting or would like to see from me

This is NOT necessarily going to work on a first-in, first-served basis. I will choose whomever most inspires me with their ideas. So if you want to trade with me - make a decent list! I hate having nothing to go on when personalising cards - your fave book, animal, colour, anything in particular you're collecting, etc. But I do like a challenge!

However, I specialise in cute, quirky animals and have a funky, colourful style that kinda stands out in the gallery like a sore toe. I also like strange fantasy critters and designing cards based on books.

Whilst I will have yours in the post before the 29th August, you're not committed to get mine to me before I leave. That WOULD be cutting things fine!

So what am I collecting?
~ Grimalkyn - http://lemurkat.xi.co.nz/Renditions/Misc/descform-grimalkyn.html
~ Autumn countryside
~ Astrology/space
~ crazy cuckoo clocks
~ cyberpunk/mortal Engines
~ zetti
~ Malagasy animals that ARE NOT lemurs
~ weird insects
~ Creatures of the Amazon rainforest (mainly birds, so far, but I'd love some mammals/reptiles!)
~ hyenas (portrait format)
~ Arctic and US/European mammals
~ Crested grebes/sun bitterns/kingfishers
~ llama/horses and other nifty domesticated beasties
~ extinct animals
~ flying monkeys

Cheers,

Kat

No takers? Oh well, I've contacted someone personally on the OS and if they're not interested, I guess I get my circle journal pages out of the way instead. Which I suppose would be for the best in any case.

If anyone does decide they'd like to trade with me in the future, I'll do my best to take them up on the offer after I return at the end of next month.

Cheers and thanks for your interest

Kat

XD I think the takers you might have had have already traded with you. And the people you haven't traded with might not be 'regulars' here yet. :D

I think everyone here has committed themeless up to their eyeballs LOL

And you know I'd take you up on the offer, but we've traded like, a bajillion times :biglaugh: I love having so many of your gems in my collection *hug*

I don't think I have traded with you yet. When do you get back from vacation? If you are up to a trade I would love to do some of your interests along the animal/insect/bird lines.

As for me I am pretty flexible, but I do have things I love of yours like your fish and reptiles, however I would also be open to your interpretation of Africa, African animals, African culture, African people, maps, text, bearded dragons (a personal favorite as I post them for my little guy to look at in his aquarium), insects, and Wyoming animals (antelopes, buffalos, jackalopes http://junior.apk.net/~mnovak/jackalopes/, elk, moose, etc...)

2 notes, first - anything with text incorporated either on the list or not is a huge smash hit! second if you feel really into some research I prefer West Africa to Africa in general.

So let me know...

Thanks Abi, I'll get back to you. i'd love to do another jackalope and maybe a bearded dragon. Might save this until after my holiday though that way I can combine it with the reading group - although that is a looong way away from closing!

I've been doing a lot of Text in my art recently, if you've noticed on the OS. I've decided to only upload here only what art I have done for people in these threads so they can see them (so there's not much at present) - I don't wanna clutter up the awesome galleries with my stuff! If you did want to see mroe stuff, there's always my deviantart site.
